Mr. Sanchez has been an appointed trustee on the Board of Retirement since 2022. He is the Political Director for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 11. An advocate for sustainable development, environmental equity, and economic opportunity for working families, Mr. Sanchez has an educational background in urban and regional planning and anthropology. Married with two daughters, he has deep roots in the Los Angeles community, where he has lived and worked his entire career.
