Mr. Green is the elected safety trustee for the Boards of Retirement and Investments, and a Los Angeles County Fire Department Captain currently assigned to Whittier Station 17, Battalion 8. He has served the residents of Los Angeles for more than two decades working throughout the County in most rank-and-file positions within the fire department. Mr. Green is committed to protecting the rights and interests of public employees, as well as being a loyal steward of the LACERA trusts.
In addition, Mr. Green serves his community and fellow firefighters in advocacy and volunteer positions. His notable accomplishments include the following:
- Elected Local 1014 board member since 2018, representing and advocating for membership; currently serving as business and retirement director
- Alternate fire representative for Local 1014 on County Coalition of Unions
- Volunteer, Surfrider Foundation and Wildland Firefighter Foundation
