Ms. Gray is a proud elected general member trustee for LACERA. She has been elected to four terms on the Board of Retirement. She has served Los Angeles County as an employee for more than 35 years. As a senior founding attorney for the Alternate Public Defender’s Office, Ms. Gray possesses strong analytical skills and a wealth of knowledge and experience in handling complicated issues. Ms. Gray is committed to ensuring the fair and just administration of LACERA’s defined benefit plan and to producing, protecting, and providing the promised benefits.
Her notable accomplishments include:
- President, State Association of California Retirement Systems (SACRS)
- Chair, SACRS Program Committee, which produces two major trustee educational conferences a year for over 750 attendees
- 10 years as a deputy sheriff for the County Sheriff’s Department
