Elizabeth Buenrostro Ginsberg is the ex-officio trustee for LACERA’s Board of Retirement and Board of Investments. She has over 26 years of combined experience managing various areas of accounting, internal controls, treasury management, property collections, and public administration. Ms. Ginsberg currently serves as the L.A. County Treasurer and Tax Collector, overseeing all operations of the Department, including the systems, programs, and services necessary for the billing, collection, deposit, investment, financing, and management of the L.A. County, community college, school district, and employee funds. Ms. Ginsberg also serves as the ex-officio member on the County’s three Deferred Compensation Plan administrative committees.
Ms. Ginsberg earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting from the California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and holds an Accredited Automated Clearing House Professional accreditation from Nacha-National Electronic Payments Association.
